Step into a world of imagination, adventure and storytelling with acclaimed children’s author Alexander Thorpe, creator of The Guarding Gnome.

Join Alexander for two special events as he visits the City of Karratha Libraries, bringing stories, creativity and plenty of fun for young readers and their families.

Special Story Time - Wickham Library

Friday 26 June | 10.45am - 11.15am

Little ones are invited to enjoy a magical Story Time with Alexander Thorpe, featuring a reading of The Guarding Gnome – the tale of a garden gnome with a big imagination. The session includes stories, songs and a fun craft activity.

Suitable for children aged 3-6 years.

Author Talk for Families – Karratha Library

Saturday 27 June | 9.30am - 10.30am

Bring the whole family along to meet a real children’s author. Enjoy a reading of The Guarding Gnome, hear about Alexander’s journey as a writer, ask questions and have your books signed.

Books will be available for purchase on the day.

Suitable for children of all ages and their parent/guardian.
