Roebourne/Wickham Transfer Station

Residents can drop off domestic general and green waste free of charge at the Roebourne/Wickham Transfer Station. 

Operating hours
7.00am - 4.30pm every day, excluding Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.

Residential recycling 
Residents can place the following items in the specifically marked bins or areas:

• plastic household containers
• paper and cardboard
• aluminum and steel cans
• glass jars and bottles

Dedicated recycling areas are also available for: 

• motor oil - containers cannot be emptied and must be left on site (maximum of 20 litres)
• scrap metal, including whitegoods
• green waste
• lead acid car batteries

These items cannot be accepted by the Roebourne/Wickham Transfer Station:

• waste from commercial premises
• high pressure containers
• peat, acid sulphate soils
• explosives of any kind
• fuel
• commercial quantities of motor oil
• marine and emergency items
