Local History Museum items at Karratha Library
The Karratha Library Local History Museum Trail cabinet is refreshed throughout the year, bringing local stories, events and people to life through items from our archives.
Currently on display are items from a Royal Flying Doctor Medical Chest, which was recently rescued from the tip. Little is known about this particular chest, but its contents provide a wonderful snapshot into First Aid and how it was made accessible to those living, working and travelling in extreme isolation from professional medical care.
