Early Years

The City of Karratha has developed its first Early Years Strategy and Implementation Plan to support children aged 0-5 and their families across the City over the next five years.

Early childhood lays the foundation for lifelong health, learning, and wellbeing. This strategy was informed by engagement with local families, service providers, stakeholders, and children, as well as local data and national frameworks, to help ensure the best possible start in life for our youngest residents.

The strategy aligns with the City’s Council Plan and broader vision of creating a connected, inclusive, and family-friendly community while supporting population growth and attracting and retaining families in the region.
