Major regional events support and encourage an active and engaged community, provide significant economic opportunities for local businesses, attract visitors to the region and create wellbeing, lifestyle and cultural benefits for our community.   

In pursuit of Councils vision to be Australia’s most liveable regional City, the City seeks to attract and support regionally significant events and activities by providing financial support. We have partnered with sporting and cultural events, regional shows, festivals and fairs, conferences, seminars and regional meetings to benefit our community and the region.
