Exercise areas

The City of Karratha is a pet-friendly City, with plenty of places for your dog to exercise and play. 
If your dog is under control when off leash, they may be let off the leash at these parks:

• Tambrey Oval – Nickol
• Baynton West Oval (Mara Guthara Park) – Baynton
• Millars Well Oval – Millars Well
• Pegs Creek Oval – Pegs Creek
• Bulgarra Oval

Dampier – Hampton Oval and dog beach as per signage. 
 

Roebourne – Harding River 
 

Point Samson – North of Mears Drive 
 

However, dogs must stay on leash during sporting events and training at these parks and are not allowed to enter children’s play areas. 

Dogs are otherwise required to be tethered on a leash and under control at all times if they are not contained within a private property or in any other public place.
