Dog exercise areas

The City of Karratha is a pet-friendly City, with plenty of places for your dog to exercise and play. 
If your dog is under control when off leash, they may be let off-leash in the following areas:

Hampton Oval and Beach Dampier Dog Exercise Area
Kevin Richards Oval Millars Well Dog Exercise Area
Mara Guthara Park Baynton West Dog Exercise Area
Pegs Creek Oval Pegs Creek Dog Exercise Area
Tambrey Oval Nickol Dog Exercise Area
Harding River Roebourne Dog Excercise Area

However, dogs must stay on leash during sporting events and training at these parks and are not allowed to enter children’s play areas. 

Dogs are otherwise required to be tethered on a leash and under control at all times if they are not contained within a private property or in any other public place.
