These Markets bring together local businesses selling a vast array of product types, a great variety of food vendors and community groups. There is something for everyone at the Dampier Beachside Markets! Each event generally attracts around 30 stallholders, showcasing everything from clothing, plants, food, crafts, jewellery and art to eco-friendly products, and of course a good old sausage sizzle or egg & bacon burger fundraiser!
The Dampier Community Association (DCA) is proud to present these events, made possible through funding from the City of Karratha and the support of local suppliers and vendors.
The DCA designates a theme for each event and liaises with local community and Not-for-Profit groups to be our chosen focus group for that Market. This enables the DCA to support other organisations whilst raising awareness of these groups and what they bring to our community. Our bouncy castle and face painting stalls collect gold coin donations to raise funds for these worthwhile causes. With live music, a beautiful venue and a laid back vibe, this makes for a relaxed, friendly and affordable family event.
Three Sunday Morning Markets (9am - 12pm) take place during the cooler part of the year, between late March and June. Â
Three Twilight Markets (5:30pm - 8:30pm) are held on a Saturday evening, between October and December, concluding the year with a special combined Christmas Markets & Movie event.
