Time is running out to get in nominations for the upcoming 2024 Community Awards.
There is just two weeks left to put forward a local hero or someone deserving of recognition.
Every year the City of Karratha celebrates the achievements of hard-working local heroes who have help make the community a better place to live.
These awards provide an opportunity to commend those tireless individuals who are passionate about Karratha and helping residents and the community.
The 2024 awards cover three categories, the City of Karratha Citizen of the Year, Pilbara Ports Authority Young Citizen of the Year and Rio Tinto Active Citizenship.
If you know someone who is worthy of one of these prestigious awards and deserves to be acknowledged for their community service, it’s time to speak up and start nominating.
Winners will be announced at the City of Karratha Community Awards 2024 function on Friday 26 January 2024 at the Red Earth Arts Precinct.
