A visual exploration of the North-West will be showcased at the Red Earth Arts Precinct’s latest exhibition.
People + Place will open on 3 October with an evening filled with live entertainment, a live soundscape as well as an interactive art installation.
The exhibition features artists from across Australia including include emerging Ngarluma artist Winston Stokes Jnr, 2024 Cossack Artist in Residence Katie Barron, local Vogue published photographer Alida Turton and 2024 KAPP awarding winning artist Linda Wilson.
City of Karratha Mayor Daniel Scott said the exhibition was an opportunity to embrace the fantastic artists in our community as well as those that have visited.
“I encourage everyone to come down and join us for an evening reveling in the arts as we launch our latest exhibition,” Cr Scott said.
“This group exhibition will take you on a visual journey across the North West with a collection of works from local and visiting artists.
“Explore comfort in familiarity and the idea that home can be a feeling felt, rather than a building bought.
