The Karratha skies will look like a scene from Top Gun on Friday November 10, when two F35 fighter Jets will fly overhead as part of a training exercise.
At about 8.59 the Jets will be overhead Dampier before heading south along Dampier Highway and heading along over all the schools in Karratha.
From there, the Jets will from Karratha to Roebourne Primary, and then towards Wickham Primary and over the Cape Lambert facilities before turning to the west, back along the coast and into Karratha Airport.
Flight Path Timings:
- Overhead Dampier at 0859
- Karratha schools at 0900
- Roebourne at 0903
- Wickham at 0904
Locals will have the chance to view the planes and take pictures from Gate 1 at the airport between 10am-12pm.
