The 2022/23 Annual Report has been accepted by Council with the Annual Electors Meeting set for August 19.
The Annual Report 2022/23 provides an overview of the achievements of the City over the 2022/23 financial year supported by the Annual Financial Report and the Independent Auditor’s Report.
Endorsed by Council on June 30, the report also indicates the City’s financial position as at 30 June 2023 and will be presented to the community through the Annual Electors’ Meeting.
City of Karratha Mayor Daniel Scott said the report provides insight into the work the organisation completes every year.
“During the 2022/23 financial year, we completed several projects and achieved some great milestones including becoming a Gold Waterwise Council, and delivering high quality events in our City,” Cr Scott said.
“This report was completed in line with legislative requirements and gives the community an opportunity to see how the organisation works and the vast wide range of projects and works we have completed.”
