Community, sporting, cultural and service groups are invited to apply for the City’s Large Community Grants as part of the Community Grants and Contribution Scheme.
Applications for the grants, which provide between $5,0000 and $50,000 to eligible applicants, are now open.
The scheme provides financial assistance to eligible groups for events, projects and services that benefit the community.
Groups can apply for up to $50,000 (ex GST) per year for established community events or activities run annually.
Applicants must be recognised as a not-for-profit, incorporated body or a registered charity within the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission.
While individual or non-incorporated organisations will need to partner with a registered organisation and apply via an auspice arrangement.
