The Void Exhibition

Open from 9 July to 6 September 2026, Red Earth Arts Precinct.

  • Viewing hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.
  • Open to the public free of charge

This exhibition reflects on a journey through loss, resilience and hope. Yindjibarndi artist Melissa Sandy honours her family legacy with The Void.

Following its powerful presentation as at PS Art Space as part of Perth Festival, we are honoured to bring The Void home.
Presented at the Red Earth Arts Precinct, this significant exhibition invites family and community to experience a prolific body of work that reflects on grief, healing and the enduring strength of family legacy.

The presentation of THE VOID in Karratha is made possible by The Junction Co. and the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (CITS), Culture and the Arts WA, as part of the RETB Regional Arts Sector Capacity Building Funding Program (2023–2027).
