Are you passionate about events, customer service, and leadership? The City of Karratha is looking for a Ticketing & Venue Hire Supervisor to join our team at the Red Earth Arts Precinct (REAP). In this dynamic role, you will oversee ticketing operations, manage venue hire processes, and ensure the smooth execution of events. You’ll also lead a team of casual staff, providing guidance and support to maintain the high standards REAP is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all ticketing-related activities, from system management to sales reporting.
  • Be the primary contact for venue hire, ensuring seamless communication and satisfaction for all clients.
  • Lead, train, and mentor casual staff to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the REAP Operations Supervisor to ensure successful event delivery and venue optimization.
  • Provide on-the-ground support during events, ensuring a smooth experience for both clients and patrons.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of end-to-end event management experience, including budget oversight and staff leadership.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Proficiency in ticketing systems, event coordination, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in events management, arts administration, or a related field (desirable).
  • Current C-class driver’s licence, Approved Manager Certificate (for licensed premises) RSA, Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, and Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
