The City of Karratha is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our Recreation Facilities team as a Recreation Facilities Coordinator.  This position is based in Karratha, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Recreation Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of Karratha Leisureplex (KLP), Wickham Recreation Precinct and the Roebourne Aquatic Centre.

The successful candidate for this role will ideally have:

•    Tertiary qualifications in Recreation Business Management or a similar Community focused area in line management, with a minimum two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
•    Demonstrated experience in managing multiple staff across multiple venues (essential). 
•    Sound knowledge of Financial Management and budget processes.
•    Demonstrated experience in the day-to-day coordination of a large multi-purpose Recreation Facility.
•    Current C class driver’s licence.
•    National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old).
