Recreation Facilities Casual Staff - Expressions of Interest

The City of Karratha is offering exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our friendly Community Facilities teams on a casual basis. These positions will be based at both Karratha Leisureplex and Wickham Recreation Precinct.

This is an Expression of Interest application pool for the following roles and a submission via this EOI does not guarantee employment or casual hours will be offered.  Applicant's expression of interest will be kept on file and contacted by the relevant area Supervisor if the need arises.

11093 – Leisureplex Café Attendant up to $39.0686 per hour (including casual loading)
The Cafe Attendant will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of customer service within the Leisureplex Cafe in order to achieve Council’s objectives. In addition, they will be responsible for the cleanliness and quality presentation of the cafe.

10881 – Gym Instructor $39.0686 per hour (including casual loading)
The Gym Instructor is responsible for undertaking appraisals and providing instruction in the gym, safely and effectively.

10421 – Program Assistant up to $39.0686 per hour (including casual loading)
The Program Assistant is responsible for effectively assisting in the supervision of recreation programs and to ensure a safe environment is provided to all Centre users / clientele.

10411 – Group Fitness Instructor $50.0448per hour (including casual loading)
The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for the provision of a quality group fitness program to the community, safely and effectively.

10845 – Personal Trainer $51.1395 per hour (including casual loading)
The Personal Trainer is responsible for motivating people pursue a healthy lifestyle by incorporating physical fitness activities into their daily routine. 
The personal trainer should be aware of all the basic nutrients required by the body. They should have good knowledge about the gym equipment like treadmills, elliptical trainer etc.

10404 – Customer Service Officer - $45.1306 per hour (including casual loading and allowance)
The Customer Service Officer is responsible for acting as the facilities’ first point of contact, responding appropriately by providing information and direction to the general public, receiving all cash, preparation and processing all receipts and ensure security of Council’s monies and assist in promoting, coordinating and conducting recreation programs.

10444 - Swim Teacher - $45.1306 per hour (including casual loading and allowance)
The Swim Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and informative swimming program to the residents of the City of Karratha.
