The City of Karratha is offering an opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Project Officer to join our Parks & Gardens team. This position is based in Karratha, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Parks and Gardens Project Officer joins a team of professionals in the Asset Maintenance department is responsible for assisting with Project Management Plans and Capital Works/Renewal programs from inception to final delivery, in accordance with contemporary Project Management practices and across a wide range of areas from landscaping, trees, playgrounds, civil construction, park furniture to reticulation. 

The successful candidates will possess:

  • Qualification in a relevant field such as Project Management or Horticulture
  • Horticulture or building/structural experience
  • Demonstrated experience administration skills specifically a multi-disciplined working environment
  • Current C class Driver’s license
  • National (or Federal) Police Clearance no more than 6 months’ old
