The City of Karratha is offering an opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified individual to join Parks and Gardens team and wider Infrastructure Services department. This position is based at the City’s Operations Centre, offers an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including:

The Parks and Gardens Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the delivery of parks, ovals, gardens and other landscape infrastructure maintenance and construction commensurate to levels of service specified in the City’s Operational Plan, providing leadership, supervision and support to the Parks and Gardens team. 

The successful candidates will possess: 

•    Horticulture or relevant related trade certificate/s or extensive experience in broad acre amenity Horticulture and/or Turf management field 
•    Diploma in Management and Leadership/Frontline Management (desirable) 
•    Current Traffic Management Certificate 
•    Current C Class drivers’ licence 
•    National (or Federal) Police Clearance (no more than 6 months old) 
•    Provide First Aid Certificate
