The Manager plays a vital leadership role in shaping the City’s “One Team” culture, driving employee engagement, and supporting the growth and development of the City’s talented workforce. The person appointed as Manager must be a strategic and inspirational People & Culture leader, able to:
- Achieve in a results-oriented, fast-paced and progressive organisation environment.
- Optimise the attraction and retention of staff.
- Capably work with other organisation leaders as a HR Business Partner.
- Effectively negotiate business priorities.
- Ensure workforce strategies enhance organisation performance.
The City of Karratha has a track record of innovation, so to be truly successful in the role you will need to bring your strong stakeholder management, influencing, communication and collaboration skills.
The position comes with a competitive remuneration package inclusive of; base salary of $145,000, plus superannuation of $15,950, executive housing, relocation allowance, use of a motor vehicle, 6 weeks annual leave, utilities allowance, staff wellness program for a total remuneration package of circa $200,000 pa.
