The City of Karratha is offering an opportunity for an experienced civil Grader Operator to join our Operations team. This role provides an opportunity to work on a variety of machines conducting maintenance and renewal on Council infrastructure including roads, footpaths, drainage.
This position is based in Karratha, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Lead Grader Operator is required to be a skilled operator with the ability to provide high levels of accuracy in machine operation skills (to levels and designs) on the grader and various other plant and equipment. This person also has the opportunity of working on and training others in specialised plant such as bitumen repair and kerbing equipment.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Current Certificate of Competency for Grader, Excavator, Skid Steer and Loader
- Demonstrated solid experience in the operation of these machines and good knowledge of daily maintenance requirements
- Current Basic Traffic Management certificate
- Good knowledge of City area
- A current Manual HR driver’s licence
- A National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
