The Landfill Technical Coordinator is responsible for managing operations and compliance at the City's Waste Management Facilities and the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) located at the Karratha Airport.
The Waste Services Department is responsible for the provision of Waste Management services within the City of Karratha. These services encompass:
- Landfill and Transfer Station Management
- DWER Regulatory Compliance
- Airport Sewage Treatment Plant Operations and Maintenance
- Water Sampling
- Waste Classifications
- Technical Support Services
- Resource Recovery
Reporting directly to the Manager Waste and Fleet services you will develop, monitor and maintain Landfill and Transfer Station Operation Manuals, safe work method statements and standard operating procedures in conjunction with team members. You will assist with Capital work plans, develop and monitoring KPI's and assist with the overall running of the department.
To be considered for this role you will have the experience developing manuals, work safe methods and standard operating procedures for a local council. You will have the ability to lead a team and have a thorough understanding of relevant policies and practice's associated with managing a city's Waste Management Facilities.
