The City of Karratha has been a powerhouse of economic growth for Western Australia and the nation. Its extensive resource exports have resulted in the City of Karratha being recognised as the fifth largest LGA economy in Australia. Previously a centre known only for its resource industry, the City of Karratha is fast developing into a regional destination and home for an increasingly diverse range of visitors and residents.

  • Housing and relocation assistance OR remote working options available
  • Commuter use vehicle (if residential)
  • Allowances
  • Six weeks’ annual leave
  • 13% Superannuation

The position focuses on the due diligence and project management of housing development projects which are ramping up during the contract period. The City’s Housing Action Plan has identified a number of opportunities to expedite housing supply for which it has committed investment.

The successful candidates will ideally possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Previous experience in the planning and management of projects
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modelling and investment due diligence
  • Exposure to working with/in local government (desirable)
