The City of Karratha is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced and self motivated professional to join our Information Services team as our Enterprise Systems Coordinator.  This position is based in Karratha, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Enterprise Systems Coordinator is responsible for the design, development, deployment, support, availability and continuous improvement of the City of Karratha’s business application systems.

The role works with business stakeholders to ensure that our business systems are aligned with our business strategy, and that the requirements of the services we build and acquire are fit for purpose and meet business needs. 

The position also assists the Manager Information Technology in the continuous development of IT services and is required to provide a high level of IT customer service and maintaining a positive and productive working relationship between IT and other departments. In addition, this role will actively foster innovation through the adaptation of Enterprise systems ensuring that data and information is managed as a corporate asset.

On occasion, this position is required to work outside of normal office hours for implementations, upgrades and maintenance. This will be in accordance with on-call procedures and the organisations’ Enterprise Agreement.

The successful candidate will possess: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Services/Information Technology/Computer Science or similar relevant discipline with extensive relevant practical experience
  • Demonstrated experience of installing, configuring and administrating business systems, communication solutions and Server/Workstation/MDM operational aspects.
  • Excellent understanding of industry trends in emerging hardware, software, communications, approaches to problem solving and thinking to help reduce business costs and continuously improve
  • A current Manual C class driver’s licence
  • A National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
