Community Services Assistant – Youth Program Attendant - Casual

The City of Karratha is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our friendly Youth Services team on a casual basis. 

You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery and supervision of youth programs and events facilitated by the City of Karratha Youth Services team and may be based out of our Youth Centres in Karratha and Wickham. These programs focus on positive socialisation and safe recreation.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Experience working within the youth services field is highly desirable, particularly delivering, and supervising programs for young people
• Ability and willingness to work outside of ‘normal working hours’ as defined in the City of Karratha Industrial Agreement; weekend availability highly desirable
• Current Working with Children Check (desirable)
• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• Current C class driver’s licence (desirable)
• National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
