Are you passionate about supporting community recreation and improving operational efficiency? The City of Karratha is seeking a proactive and skilled Business Support Officer to join our team, providing specialist administrative and project support across our recreation facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key link between the City of Karratha’s network and our recreation facilities, ensuring the smooth implementation of city-wide programs.
- Champion new initiatives and assist with change management to enhance service delivery.
- Improve operational efficiencies by standardising processes and increasing productivity across facilities.
- Support staff by providing the tools and processes needed to ease workloads and optimise resources.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and support strategic planning initiatives to enhance facility operations.
What We Are Looking For:
- Tertiary qualifications in recreation, fitness, or education programming, with at least 12 months of experience in a similar role.
- Strong skills in managing operations in a large multi-disciplinary fitness center, including recreation programming and promotion.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, budget processes, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff, solve problems, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
