The City of Karratha is offering an opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated individual, to join our Community Facilities team as the Business Supervisor - KLP. This position is based at the Karratha Leisureplex, offering an attractive salary and a range of benefits including, but not limited to:

The Business Supervisor - KLP is responsible for the promoting, coordinating, conducting and evaluating all recreation, aquatic and fitness / lifestyle programs throughout the City’s recreation facilities. In addition, the role is responsible for acting as the Karratha Leisureplex’s first point of contact, responding appropriately by providing information and direction to the general public, receiving all cash, preparation and processing all bookings receipts and ensure security of Council’s monies.
The successful candidates will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in recreation, fitness, education programming or similar with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of financial management and budget processes.
- Demonstrated recreation programming skills
- Demonstrated experience in operations of a large multi-disciplined fitness centre
- Demonstrated experience in promotion and marketing
- Demonstrated IT skills
