The City of Karratha is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Asset Maintenance department as a Business Administration Trainee for a 12-month contract. This position is based in Karratha, offering an opportunity to build your skills and learn on the job whilst completing training and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Trainee is responsible for providing systems and administrative support to the team and provide a professional service to both internal and external customers.

The successful candidate will possess: 

  • Ability to undertake Certificate IV in Business Administration traineeship
  • Previous experience in an administration role (desirable)
  • Hold a National (or Federal) Police Certificate no more than 6 months old
  • Current C class driver’s licence
