The City of Karratha is offering an opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Project Officer, seeking a challenging and rewarding career to join our Building Maintenance team. This position offers an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Building Maintenance Project Officer is responsible for the delivery of minor projects from inception to final delivery. This role covers a range of projects across our various facilities and is well supported by existing project delivery processes. 

This role will suit an individual who is interested in Project Management and enjoys a fast-paced environment that has variety of work to be delivered. 

The successful person should possess: 

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Project Management or Engineering is desirable. 
  • Previous experience within an engineering or project management department or, 
  • Previous experience in a contract management / works scheduling environment 
  • Demonstrated experience in administration skills, specifically a multi-disciplined working environment
  • Current C class Driver’s licence
  • National (or Federal) Police Clearance no more than 6 months’ old
