The City will be conducting slashing works in Dampier. These works are scheduled to commence in the week beginning Monday 2 October 2023, and are estimated to last approximately 4 weeks.
The slashing works will be carried out by our preferred slashing contractor using specialised equipment such as mowers, tractors, brush cutters, and chainsaws. Our dedicated Parks & Gardens department will be responsible for the collection and removal of any excess vegetation resulting from this process.
To ensure the safety and efficiency of the operation, we kindly request that residents move any boats, trailers, cars, and other items from drainage areas and relocate them onto property driveways during the work period.
