Reporting to the CEO, the Director will play a vital leadership role in delivering the City’s vision to be Australia’s Most Liveable Regional City.
The person appointed as Director must be a strategic and inspirational leader with strong financial and commercial acumen. The Director has key accountability for:
- Leading and building capacity in your team to deliver the City’s Strategic Community Plan.
- Managing the City’s finance, information technology, governance and risk management functions, commercial properties and investment portfolio.
- Delivering high performance corporate services and meeting regulatory obligations within the integrated planning and reporting framework.
- Delivering the City’s digital transformation to drive service delivery, improvement, and innovation.
The City of Karratha has a track record of innovation in driving revenue outside Council rates. The Director will continue to optimise revenue through the City’s investment and commercial property portfolios, while assisting Council and Executive to identify new investment & revenue generating opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate experience within a results-orientated environment, including tracking and improving service levels and performance.
