The City of Karratha is offering an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our Front Counter team on a part time basis for 30 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 25 September 2019. This position is based in Karratha, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Customer Service Officer is responsible for acting as Council’s first point of contact, responding appropriately by providing accurate information and direction to the general public.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated experience in a similar positions including cash handling, reception and administrative duties
  • Developed keyboard and computer skills with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • A current C Class driver’s licence
  • A national (or federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
