We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self motivated Indigenous individual to join our Customer Service team as a Trainee Customer Service Officer for a 12 month, fixed term contract. This position is based in Karratha, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Indigenous Trainee Customer Service Officer is responsible for acting as Council’s first point of contact, responding appropriately by providing accurate information and direction to the general public.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Ability to undertake Certificate IV in Business traineeship
  • Developing keyboard and computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Current C Class drivers licence
  • Satisfactory National or Federal Police Clearance (no more than 6 months old)
