The City of Karratha Customer Service team is able to assist with all Cemetery Enquiries including Plot reservations, Burial inquires, Ashes internments and Monument applications. We will direct families to Funeral Directors and Monumental Masons who can assist with funeral arrangements and monument instalments. Families can peruse our Cemetery maps and select plot sites for family members who have passed away or reserve the plots for future interments.
A Niche Wall is situated at Karratha Cemetery for Ashes for family members wishing to inter ashes. There is no crematorium in Karratha however families can have ashes interred after cremation in Perth.
One family member will be required to sign a Grant of Right of Burial which grants them the ‘lease’ over a plot for 25 years and may be extended for a further 25 years upon payment of the set fee. The Grant Holder must produce the relevant paperwork and provide permission for all interments and monumental approvals on the associated plot.
